Do You Trust Me, Michael?

Dear Friends,

Everywhere I go around this nation, again and again I hear Christians who are dealing with issues in their lives, involving relationships in their families, or issues at work or school, or with their health and finances. We look around us and see our nation in chaos; the level of stress and frenzied activity in our lives is increasing dramatically. Never have I seen an election for President bring about such contention among people. Once again God brings us face to face with this question; “Do you trust me or not?”

I am reminded of a time when my son and I were at a gentleman’s home here in Bakersfield. This man was well known and quite knowledgeable working with snakes. He had in a cage the largest Diamond Back Rattlesnake in captivity. He said to my son, “I want you to reach in that cage and pick up that rattlesnake.” This rattlesnake was coiled and ready to strike. When my son hesitated the man said to him, “You came to me for help and information regarding reptiles because you needed my help; now I am asking you to do something. I am telling you that if you reach in and slowly pick him up he will not hurt you. Now, DO YOU TRUST ME OR NOT?”

The point is that we often go to God when things are going well or we need His help in the day-to-day circumstances of life. But then there comes a time when we are facing something very scary and He allows it to bring us to a point where the question from Him becomes, “DO YOU TRUST ME OR NOT?” How would you answer?

WE OFFER TRAINING
At Wholeness Ministries we conduct training at local churches for those wanting to learn how to better minister with the gifts and tools God has given us. We are in week four but you would still be able to attend and learn a great deal.

We are currently conducting classes at:
Christ’s Cathedral 2301 White Lane, Bakersfield, CA
7:00pm-8:30pm

We will be teaching in the areas described below:
The Role of Faith
Faith is a spiritual substance and when we become a Christian, God gives us a measure of faith. We will look at the role that faith plays in the ministry of healing.
The Authority of The Believer
In addition to understanding the role of faith we need to understand the authority that has been given to us in Jesus Christ. We will explore the nature of this authority and how we have been given authority to heal. When we awaken to our spiritual authority, every aspect of our lives will be transformed and freed from the oppressive power of Satan.
Introduction to Inner Healing
Often when we are praying for people we discover that there is a need for inner healing that is healing in the emotional core. Put very simply, inner healing is healing in our heart. Inner healing is a truth encounter with God and deals with those words and actions that caused wounding and pain in our lives.
Forgiveness, The Key to Inner Healing
We will explore the roots of these hurts and the role that forgiveness plays in the healing of our emotions and memories.
A Balanced Approach to Deliverance
The definition of deliverance is to liberate, rescue or set free. The responsibility to minister total healing and wholeness has been delegated to every Christian. This teaching explores what deliverance is, the examples we have in scripture and how we can be equipped to minister deliverance.
Spiritual Warfare and The Healing Ministry
When we become aware of a war the first thing we must find out is the identity of the adversaries. We are in the midst of spiritual warfare. When you become a believer you are either actively or passively in warfare. What we will do is to give you some understanding of the purpose of this warfare and some weapons you can use to fight.
